Roast Chicken Salad Sandwich

Sainsbury's
14 Aug 2007

Part of the "be good to yourself" range, this chicken salad sandwich is on malted bread with seeds.

The sandwich includes, roast chicken, cracked black pepper mayonnaise, tomato, cucumber, spinach, lettuce and soft cheese.

The consistency was moist and the flavour of the black pepper mayonnaise was subtle but well balanced. The salad content was generous and the spinach was a nice touch. The bread was not too dry and the flavour did not overpower the filling as can often be the case with some malted bread.

At just over 300 calories it can easily be worked into your diet plans and provides a satisfying lunch.
